PUBLIC UTILITY CLIENT: A new federal government mandate was going to be imposed on a local utility district in California that would cost the utility and its ratepayers $22 million. One of our principals conducted a further identification and assessment of that risk followed by development of a comprehensive strategic plan that incorporated government relations, community relations, media relations, as well as grasstops and grassroots community engagement. The successful outcome delivered a $5 million solution – saving the client $17 million annually.
